Pet-a-palooza 2018 – Wall to Wall Dogs

Calgary is, for serious, Dog City. Our last census says we are 10 humans to every 1 doggo. If we have 1.266 million humans in Calgary, that's... like... A LOT OF DOGGOS! No more was Calgary's love for dogs more evident than this past weekend at Pet-A-Palooza 2018 in Eau Claire Market! Over 2 days, thousands of dogs and their human pals walked, sniffed, snacked, played, and (probably) peed in the sun over a lovely weekend.Saturday and Sunday both started at 10 am with over 100 of … [Read more...]

Bark with Bam 2018 – A Big Party with A Bigger Impact

Sometimes, when you plan a big Saturday afternoon with your friends, everything lines up just perfectly. That was how it felt this past Saturday as I arrived to join the birthday festivities for a Calgary doggo by the name of Rambo. Yes, that's right, I was at a dog's birthday party. This wasn't just any party, though. This was Bark With Bam 2018. I don't know about you, but I never had a dunk tank, doggy pools, an agility course, a silent auction, or door prizes at my birthday parties. My … [Read more...]

At some point in all of our lives as pet parents we have been left with a big decision where our little fur kid's life hangs in the balance. The Calgary Humane Society has a handy calculator that gives a general outlook of what you … [Read more...]
