DOGS YYC will collect certain information from the USER in order to return to the USER the requested information or to provide the requested product/service. DOGS YYC will ask for only the information that is necessary to fulfill those obligations.
At no point will DOGS YYC or the WEBMASTER endeavour to store any USER information and will, at no time whatsoever, sell or otherwise disseminate USER information to ANY third parties. As per Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act, DOGS YYC will disclose to the USER all information that DOGS YYC may hold upon request and verification of the USER’s identity, however DOGS YYC policy is to destroy that information when it is no longer needed by DOGS YYC. For instance, anyone who reports a dog lost or found should report to DOGS YYC when the animal is reunited with his or her family and DOGS YYC will destory all records pertaining to those USERS. So do not be surprised if we respond to your information request saying we no longer have any of your information.
Any cookies that are stored on a USER’s machine will never be used to track that USER, nor will they be distributed to any third party for any reason.
PayPal is used to process payments for Business Directory listings and merchandise. These payments are conducted offsite on PayPal’s server. Dogs YYC has no power over PayPal or PayPal’s usage and collection of data and will not be held liable for PayPal’s said usage of data.
Submission of USER information, therefore, is the USER’s decision and if said USER is uncomfortable with sharing information online, he or she should refrain from doing so.
Use of this website will be construed as acknowledgement of acceptance of this policy and any other policy documents such as the Terms of Service page and such acknowledgement will waive DOGS YYC and the WEBMASTER from any liability for damages resulting from using this site.
